Over the years of using windows XP most people notice their windows xp start up takes longer compared to when the computer was new or windows xp was reinstalled. To fix this you can defragment hard disk drives, reduce unwanted startup programs, and make some more free space available etc. . Looking at this at more detail the registry may need cleaning up and services changed to disabled or manual from automatic. The more I look into this the bigger the list becomes, so I am going to compile a list of tips and programs to help rectify the matter and all for free!
